Content Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 24 May 2026 · Published in English (controlling version)

This is the authoritative policy governing what may and may not be published, sold, distributed, or transmitted using Vyralyn. It applies to every creator, every fan, and every piece of content — including profile media, posts, drops, direct messages, voice notes, video calls, live streams, custom commissions, auction listings, and shop items.

1. What Vyralyn is for

Vyralyn is a creator-to-fan monetization platform for non-adult creative work. We exist to help independent artists, musicians, podcasters, writers, designers, photographers, video creators, educators, fitness instructors, gamers, streamers, journalists, comedians, performers, hobbyists, and entrepreneurs build a sustainable income from an audience that values their work.

We are not, and will not become, an adult-content platform. Vyralyn is positioned in the same product category as Patreon, Ko-fi, Substack, Buy Me a Coffee, and similar non-adult creator platforms. Our content rules align with this positioning.

2. Strictly prohibited content

The following categories are strictly prohibited anywhere on the Platform. Listing or attempting to list, post, transmit, or sell any of the below results in immediate removal and, depending on severity, immediate account termination without refund.

2.1 Sexually explicit material and nudity

Vyralyn does not permit, in any context, on any surface (profile, posts, drops, DMs, calls, streams, shop, auctions):

  • Pornography, sexually explicit imagery, video, audio, text, or animation; depictions or simulations of sexual acts (solo or partnered).
  • Full or partial nudity, including artistic, editorial, educational, “implied, ” or “tasteful” nudity. This includes exposed genitalia, buttocks, and female nipples (including transparent or covered with body paint, latex, pasties, or similar).
  • Lingerie, underwear, or “boudoir”-style content where the apparent intent is sexual arousal.
  • Sexually suggestive posing, framing, camera angles, or captions, irrespective of how much clothing is worn.
  • Fetish content of any kind, including content depicting or describing BDSM, paraphilias, or sexual roleplay.
  • Sexual services, escort services, “girlfriend experience,” paid sexual companionship, pay-per-view sexual content, adult live cam services, or any solicitation or arrangement of any of the above.
  • ASMR, voice notes, or video calls that are sexual, erotic, or marketed as such (including “spicy” ASMR, moaning, breathing, or roleplay framed for sexual gratification).
  • Custom content requests of a sexual nature, including paid private streams marketed as adult, or paid DMs marketed as sexual.
  • Sale, trade, or solicitation of personally-worn items (e.g. worn underwear, socks), regardless of whether the listing itself uses explicit language.

Athletic wear, standard swimwear at a beach or pool, dance and yoga attire, costume and cosplay (worn in a non-sexual manner), and historical/cultural dress are permitted provided the content is not framed for sexual arousal. Where the line is ambiguous, our moderation team will err on the side of removal.

2.2 Content involving minors

Vyralyn is an 18+ platform. Beyond that, absolute prohibitions:

  • Any sexual or sexualized content involving, depicting, suggesting, or referencing minors (anyone under 18) — including fictional, drawn, AI-generated, animated, deepfaked, or text-based depictions. This is reported to law enforcement under all applicable jurisdictions including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
  • Content that sexualizes minors via age-regression, “ageplay,” uniforms suggesting school settings, or similar framing, even if all subjects are confirmed adults.
  • Grooming behavior toward minors on any Platform surface.
  • Recruiting minors into Vyralyn as creators or as paying fans.

2.3 Non-consensual content

  • Content depicting any person who has not given clear, informed, recorded consent to its publication on the Platform.
  • “Revenge porn,” intimate-image abuse, leaked or stolen intimate content.
  • Deepfakes, face-swaps, or AI-generated content depicting real identifiable people without their documented consent — sexual or otherwise.
  • Hidden-camera, upskirt, voyeur, “creep shot,” or surreptitiously-obtained content.

2.4 Other restricted categories

The following are prohibited because they fall within our payment processor’s Restricted Businesses list (see stripe.com/restricted-businesses):

  • Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, prescription medication sales.
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, regulated knives, 3D-printed firearm files.
  • Gambling, betting, paid sweepstakes, lotteries.
  • Cryptocurrency promotion involving guaranteed returns, paid pump-and-dump signals, unregistered securities.
  • Unregistered financial services, “get rich quick” schemes, MLM recruitment.
  • Counterfeit goods, replicas, fakes, unlicensed merchandise.
  • Bail bonds, debt collection, credit repair, payday lending.
  • Live animal sales, endangered species products, ivory.
  • Tobacco, vaping products, e-cigarettes, nicotine products.
  • Adoption services, surrogacy arrangements, mail-order brides.
  • Cannabis and CBD products regardless of local legality.
  • Telemedicine or DTC pharmacy services without appropriate licensing.
  • Government documents, fake IDs, immigration document services.
  • Fraud-adjacent materials (essay-writing-for-academic-submission, fake reviews, doctored documents).

2.5 Harm, hate, and violence

  • Content promoting, glorifying, inciting, or threatening violence.
  • Hate speech attacking people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age.
  • Doxxing: publishing private personal information without consent (addresses, phone numbers, employer details, medical or financial records).
  • Harassment campaigns, coordinated targeting, brigading, stalking facilitation.
  • Self-harm or suicide content presented as instructional, encouraging, or glamorizing. (Educational, recovery, and survivor-perspective content is permitted with appropriate framing.)
  • Eating-disorder “thinspo/pro-ana” content.
  • Terrorist or violent extremist organization content, propaganda, recruitment, or funding solicitation.
  • Graphic real-world violence, gore, or animal cruelty for shock value.

2.6 Intellectual property infringement

  • Content the creator does not own or have a documented license to publish and monetize.
  • Pirated software, leaked media, ripped movies/TV/music, re-uploaded paid courses.
  • Sale or distribution of accounts, keys, or cracked software.
  • Trademark infringement including unlicensed fan merchandise sold for profit.

2.7 Platform abuse

  • Spam, mass-DM bots, fake engagement (purchased subscribers, fake fans, bot bids).
  • Off-platform payment solicitation. All monetized creator-to-fan transactions must happen through Vyralyn.
  • Circumventing fees, taxes, or platform commission.
  • Creating multiple accounts to evade enforcement.
  • Phishing, malware distribution, credential harvesting.
  • Impersonating other people or brands, false verification claims.

3. What you can sell on Vyralyn

To frame the line positively, examples of monetization we welcome:

  • Subscriptions / memberships with tier-gated access to your art, music, podcast, newsletter, video series, tutorials, behind-the-scenes content, working files, or community.
  • Posts and drops — paid one-off content (a song, comic chapter, tutorial, art print PDF, course module).
  • Direct messages — paid conversational access for fan engagement, business questions, mentorship, feedback on work.
  • Voice notes and 1:1 video calls — paid personalized greetings, conversation, mentorship, consultation, coaching, lessons, performance critique.
  • Live streams— gameplay, music performance, podcast recording, art process, Q&A, fitness class, cooking, talk show.
  • Custom commissions — original art, music, writing, design, code, voiceover, custom song lyrics, edited video.
  • Shop items — digital downloads, presets, brushes, plugins, fonts, sample packs, beat licenses, PDFs, eBooks, print-on-demand merchandise.
  • Auctions — limited-edition art, signed prints, one-of-one digital art, personalized experiences.

The framing test: would this content reasonably appear on Patreon, Ko-fi, Substack, Bandcamp, or a similar platform? If yes, it is welcome on Vyralyn.

4. Age and identity verification

Creators: must be at least 18 years old; must complete identity verification (Stripe Connect KYC) before payouts; must self-attest at signup that they are 18+, will only post content they own or are licensed to monetize, and will not post content depicting individuals under 18 or without their recorded consent.

Fans: every fan account must be at least 18 years old.

Subjects depicted: every identifiable individual in uploaded content must be 18+ and have given consent. Creators may be required to produce model-release documentation upon Platform request.

Attestations are recorded with timestamp, policy version, and originating IP address, and preserved for the lifetime of the account plus seven (7) years.

5. Enforcement

Vyralyn operates a report-driven enforcement model. We do not pre-screen, pre-classify, or proactively scan content before it is published. Creators publish at their own discretion and are solely responsible for the content they place on the Platform.

We do not do pre-publication scanning, routine automated content classification, random audits, or proactive monitoring of DMs, voice notes, or video calls. Private conversations between participants are private.

We do act on user reports, valid DMCA notices, lawful requests from regulators, courts, and law enforcement, and on a short list of legally-mandated categories the moment we become aware of them: child sexual abuse material (reported to NCMEC and IWF), non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats to life, and valid copyright claims.

When a report or mandated category results in a finding, sexually explicit content, content involving minors, and non-consensual content result in immediate permanent termination. Pending payouts may be withheld pending investigation.

Other policy violations escalate from warning, to 7-day suspension, to 30-day suspension, to permanent termination depending on severity and recurrence. The full sanction table is in the canonical policy document maintained by our trust & safety team.

Cancellation: any user may cancel their account, subscription, or membership at any time, from settings, in two taps. No retention call, no required exit survey.

6. Reporting violations

All reports are triaged within 24 hours. Reports involving minors are triaged within one hour during operating hours.

7. Appeals

A creator whose content has been removed, or whose account has been suspended or terminated, may appeal once per incident by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of the action. Appeals are reviewed by a moderator not involved in the original decision. Decisions on appeals are final. Terminations for sections 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 are not appealable.

8. Policy updates

Material updates are announced via in-product banner and email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Non-material updates (typos, clarifications that do not change a rule) take effect immediately.

9. Contact
